On-site Farm Agronomist. [N200K/Month]
We need an experienced, qualified farm agronomist with deep experience in raising, transplanting and growing beautiful and healthy sweet peppers and Habaneros in our nursery, greenhouses, shadenets and open-field facilities. The ideal agronomist candidate MUST have a degree in an agriculture or related field, and at least 5 years experience of panting sweet peppers and habaneros in a farm operational role. The farm agronomist will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the growing facilities, leading a team of five farm workers to carry out all the needed activities in the farm, including planting, harvesting, and managing farm staff. The farm agronomist will also be responsible for developing and implementing a robust feeding and spraying program with the associated policies and procedures, ensuring that the farm produce are of the best grades.

It is expected that the farm agronomist will live on farm premises, and be available to work 2 saturdays in a month (no sundays) and public holidays. Daily working hours are 8am to 6pm, with a one-hour break for lunch. The farm agronomist will report directly to the general manager and interact daily on WhatsApp to relate ongoing activities, and will be required to submit weekly reports on farm activities and performance.
